Well the real contractions lasted until my daughter came out. If your still able to talk through the period like cramps then they might just be BH contractions. If they start to get more painful and more frequent then their probably real contraction. Have you tried taking a shower or drinking water to see if they go away?

Started off feeling like period cramps but slowly got a thousand times more painful.

Mine were like period cramps and they would last for 60 seconds and they would be 4-5 min apart
