@stashinavy, I gave it to my son every day, twice a day for about 2.5 months. He had awful reflux and would scream in pain for hours at a time. The only side effect I noticed was he would get a bit sleepy after I gave it to him, although that also could have been because he finally relaxed after relief from the pain of reflux. My son's pediatrician said Prevacid can have bad side effects, but Zantac is perfectly safe, and I trust her completely. She is one of my best friend's mothers and she was also my pediatrician. She has been practicing for over 40 years and she is very conservative in what she prescribes.
Yes! That's it. My little one was prescribed 0.8mL, so I pulled it up 8 of the little lines on the syringe--like halfway between the .5mL and 1mL. For some reason it was hard for me to figure that out. Probably because I was so sleep deprived 😂 @stashinavy
He said 1.5 ml for her I used the syringe for the gripe water to give her but she screams when it is going down. I tasted it n it's a bit harsh I'm wondering if the syringe is too big @ciraclesmiracle
@stashinavy, yeah, it tastes terrible--I tried it. It's bitter and minty flavored. My son hated it! I put the syringe to the back of his mouth between his cheek and gum and squeezed a small amount out. Then I would blow in his face a little to get him to swallow it. Then I would express a little breast milk in his mouth to try and wash the taste out.

I did for several months. He has since grown out of his reflux (thank god!). What's your question?

yes about 3 to 4 times a day for the first 5 months of his life even in NICU

This what ah is taking is this the same thing u got??? He said it was Zantac but this is what they gave me at the pharmacy @ciraclesmiracle
