I didn't with either of my boys until they were around 9weeks. I don't know why I just didn't like the idea of it lol. But they were born in warmer months so I wasn't concerned with keeping them warm.

@mother_of_humans, that's what I was worried about, I'm due on 11th December, and it will most likely be cold! So don't want him to be too cold in just a sleepsuit, then I'll be paranoid if he has a blanket in his Moses basket too!🙄

You can use them as long as the head can't fit through the head hole and the under arms are in the correct place. Issue is they are 0-6 months. I had my baby last sunday and there is no way she can use a sleeping bag for a while yet. I tuck her blankets under her mattress in the moses/crib and she never kicks them off x
