So question every since I been prego I been getting a relaxer (perm) and my cousin gone stop and say I thought you ain't supposed to do that while you pregnant? I said ppl do a lot of things they ain't supposed to do while being pregnant like (Coloring your hair, drinking, etc) but my thing is I'm not about to walk around here looking crazy because of he say/she say stuff.... so am I wrong for getting relaxers while being pregnant??

you can relax and color your hair while pregnant, just lots of ventilation
@reyesmomma, thanks I loved it at the time but it was a lot of work even with me being a cosmetologist I still hate doing it at the time lol but I don't get relaxers all the time I stretch them I think this will be the last one until the baby comes because I'm about to weave it up for my baby shower in Jan and get some braids for February and wear those for a while because I'm due in March and I'm not doing no hair with a new born lol well at least not the first two months anyways lol
@nchamrick I love your hair.! mines just a rat's nest 😬 but I can understand it being a lot of work. the only reason why I recommend not to is because my friends from the medical industry have recommended against it. they didn't give any specific reasons other than the fact that the chemicals are absorbed through your skin and can potentially get to the child. but it's not going to cause them to grow extra Toes or something 😂

Yeah well that's the only thing that may happen. There is no real proof that it does any harm.
Well honestly mine been working lol I will say that my hair grows out of it a lot but I was like that before I got pregnant.... @junesmommy_15
