you need to be seen if you haven't already. if they don't close that you'll get a horrible infection. good luck!

That's not right. Call your doctor first thing in the morning and if you start spiking a fever go to the emergency room immediately.

Definitely go to the doctor. After my c section my ob said if mine pops open or starts draining to call them immediately because you're at risk of getting an infection.

It doesn't look infected to me (infection would be "angry"--red, hot, and weeping or pus filled, however, an incision should not be open like that. If your dr is blowing you off you ought to get a second opinion.

@studio.ghibli.mom23, no, no, and no!!!!! That definitely needs to be closed so it doesn't get infected! That is a big hole! Please call your doc in the morning! That is ridiculous!
