Bit random:
I understand the benefit cap but why can't mums who are on benefits wait 9 months to find a job the same as working mums on maternity leave 🤔
@Janegail have you ever done domiciliary care? I do it full time 40+ hours a week and they totally work around Harry from dropping at nursery to picking him up and taking him to my nan's. Everyone else starts at 7 but they've worked it so I don't ever start before 8 x
@daisysmummy, exactly and they make mums go on courses they don't sort child care if you don't go they sanction you😡 there are jobs around but they never work around your children's needs
Some mums aren't able to work or they don't want to leave their kids to go to work. Also, I don't know about where you live, but where I live it's nearly impossible to find a job

A couple of weeks ago on mom life I saw a video link of a mom emerging her kids LOL doll in ice water to reveal a “secret outfit” which looks like lingerie. It blew my mind seeing that! I finally found one of my girls dolls last night and decided to try it. I took off her outfit and first ran it under cold water..nothing. Added ice to a bowl, emerged the doll and instantly this secret outfit showed up! I just don’t understand why?? This made me sick to my stomach. We as mothers, ...

Thought I'd reintroduce myself and say hey to all you new mumma's 👋 I'm Jo, 21 and mum to my terrible two-nager Charlie (2 tomorrow! 😭) Welcome to the app all of you 😊
Full term pregnancies
Are doctors really still telling people that 37-38 weeks is full term???? ACOG and SMFM both define full term as 39-40 weeks. 37-38 is term. 41-32 is late term. Babies born at 37+ weeks are almost always just fine but there are clearly researched benefits to going to 39-40.
@charlotteandharry, I need to look into that. Thank you
