hey, non baby related question. any ideas on how to break a fever? my husband is burning up
awwww.thats sooo nice..baby him..cant do much for his fever. just mame him feel like a big baby..sit him down lay him down take him a drink ask him if he wants a snack amd tell him he needs to rest to feel better :)
yeah I'm just worried about it getting too high, and he's insisting on helping me still even tho I know he's miserable@jazmin805
its harder for guys when they get fevers..i feel bad because i kniw when my husband gets sick and iys rare i feel bad for him..sometimes no matter what i try his fever will jist not go down ..keep him hydtated with ice cold beverages and wait till the morning to check it again
we've done Tylenol and a cold press it dropped too 101, then back up to 102, so we did cold bath, dropped to 100, and is going back up already@babynessa @emileemoreland @roxell @jazmin805
i give mine extra motrin and have hin take a cold shower..rexax and eat ice cream
My husband said to put onions in a sock and place it on his head also his feet and under his arms. It helps get the body to sweat the fever out. It's what my husband does everytime he gets a fever because he doesn't like medication and it works for him. He said to actually cut an onion up and put them in a sock and have him wear the socks.
@emileemoreland, :/ there isn't one here and the hospital is the next town over
@roxell, we've got a cloth and lots of ice water, @emileemoreland we dud Tylenol like two hours ago and will do more. he's up to 102.4
Tell him ," okay, then suffer." Lol jk.Maybe just have him drink lots of cool water and take a cool or lukewarm bath or shower?Ghe damp cloth isn't bothersome it always felt good to me, maybe convince him to do that on his forehead
ugh he's not gonna go for that... I see a argument ensuing. but that's what I usually do
I'm trying lol @jazmin805
