Any expecting mothers with ITP? I was recently diagnosed after a biometrics screening and continued testing (before my pregnancy), but pretty sure it's something I've always had as it would explain some of my medical history, including hemorrhaging when I was younger and needing a blood transfusion after.
just curious as to if anyone else currently on here has this or had it during pregnancy? it's not real common, so it'd be cool to talk to someone else and compare stories or share experiences or tips...

Me! I've had ITP since I was 15. Luckily I had no problems during pregnancy or labor. They just kept an eye on my platelets.

Awesome! I mean, too meet someone else who's been there, not that you have it... lol
Did yours drop at all in pregnancy? so far mine have been stable, they were even a little higher than they were when they checked them the first few times, before. but Dr said sometimes they'll drop and they have to treat, which we don't want to do during pregnancy if we can avoid it. Did your baby have low platelets when born? No growth issues? (my son was very small, so I was just wondering if that might've been related to undiagnosed itp or other unknown issues)
