Help!! My husband is a Marine. He has been deployed to Japan, he's been gone since mid October and won't be back until April/May. Our daughter was born early July.

I'm planning on going to visit him in Japan at the end of December and I was planning on going alone. But now that the days are getting closer he wants me to take our daughter with me because it's killing him only being able to see her through the phone.

I don't know what to do 😫 personal opinions? And please don't judge me for even thinking about taking her if you think it's a terrible idea.

honestly if her pedi said it was ok for her to go, I wouldn't think twice about taking her. That's her dad and it's hard for military men and women to be away from their family. Just make sure its ok with her doctor first. I know your husband would be so excited and happy to see his baby.

I would ask her pediatrician to make sure she is good to fly but I would take her. Japan isn't that bad. I've had friends who have lived there because their parents were stationed there. the stroller and car seat you can gate check , you can bring her a pack and play to sleep in. babies at a young age are easier to fly with just bring extra diapers and Formula or Breast milk, if possible I'd buy her a seat on the plane and bring her carseat on the plane to put in her especially if she likes it and can sleep well in it. it will be hard but the plane ride will go by fast and I'm sure your hubby will be really excited to see her. I have done many Cross country trips with my daughter starting at 3 months, but never out of country but if I had a reason to I wouldn't hesitate

yeah all of that makes sense, but for her stroller and car seat, I know you can put in with luggage or take the car seat and put it on the plane seat so she can be in it. it might be hard but I think it would be worth taking her so your husband can see her , I'm sure he misses her. the time change may or may not even effect her. she might be to young to know, you could keep her on the same schedule as she is in the us, it might be a little tiring but I definitely would try :)

I'm just think of the air quality there and thinking if she gets sick? Or how would I take her stroller alone just us 2? Will she need a car seat? Where would she sleep? Things like that 😣 it's an extremely long flight I'm not sure how she would do on it. The time difference right now it's 1am over there. How will that affect her? Idk maybe I'm just being negative. But all of my family members don't want me to take her so I don't know what to do because I feel bad for my husband. @savvylynn1

I'd take her, honestly don't know why you wouldn't. I'm sure he wants to see her just as much as he wants to see you

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

So this morning my fiancé and me went to my folks for Christmas. On our way there we had to stop at his ex fiancé house to drop off an ornament we found of hers when we were setting up our tree. I was upset because I really didn't want to see her especially on our first Christmas being engaged and our daughters first Christmas because she has been mean about me in the past. Now I come to find out that she has been asking him about our daughter and stuff like that. Do I have a right to be upset or no??

Tell me if I'm wrong here.

Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.
