Can you ask to be checked for dilation and effacement or can they deny that?

you can always ask. but you're only 33weeks so it's kinda pointless.

it is But they normally don't check until like 36 weeks +

maybe like 35 weeks. but that's still really early. unless your doc has a reason to think you'll have a premature baby.

They usually don't want to check your cervix until you're 36 weeks or more because they could dilate you just from checking.
