omg my hand hurts so bad they freakin put an 18 gauge iv in my hand like damn why we need the biggest iv the make to be induced:(

yea I know 18 is one of the biggest. At least at the hospitals i worked at. they use a 16 at the red cross to donate blood. I have only even had a 22 gauge

the higher the number on the gauge of a needle is smaller. the lower number the bigger needle.
