Had to take my 4 month old to the ER last night because he woke up screaming and had a temp of 103.9. He has RSV and a double ear infection. Makes me mad because he went to the pediatrician less than 24 hours earlier and they said he was fine. He's resting now but still miserable and has a fever again. Any moms dealt with RSV before? Just trying to keep him cozy and through this. Breaks my heart 💔💔

Aww. Praying for her. Nothing worse than a sick child. I feel helpless.
My son had it at age two. Just left the hospital with my daughter dr thinks she may have pneumonia they called the on call pediatrician and we have to be at her Drs office at 8:15 for another chest X-ray. @jtmsmom
His breathing seems bad so I feel like he needs it but the doctor insists that he doesn't.
my boy is just over 5 months old. he got diagnosed with RSV Monday. Tuesday he went to after hours Peds ER. his oxygen was at 100% so he was able to come home. today he went for followup. has an ear infection doctor was bordeline ready to have him admitted because oxygen level was at 95% breathing treatment brought him back up so he is on antibiotics and was sent home with a breathing machine.
Thank you guys! The doctor said it wasn't bad enough for breathing treatments. I've been snuggling him all day and giving him Tylenol and a humidifier going
my 5 1/2 month old currently has RSV. It will get worse before it gets better. So be prepared. Prayers for your son.
My son had it when he was 6 months old. Breathing treatments if they gave them to him, rest, tylenol and ibuprofen alternated every 4 hours for fever, and keep a close eye on them. Breathing could get worse at any minute make sure u r giving treatments around the clock
