my birth story

Jadons original due date was March 7th. Friday february 12th i went to my baby appointment to see how Jadon was doing. They told me everything was great but they were gonna schedule a c-section because my hips i guess were narrow so i couldnt have a natural birth. So my fiance and i scheduled for Jadon to come into the world on February 27th on my grandparents anniversary now i mind you our family lost my grandfather 3 years ago on sept 18th,2013 so this was like having an anniversary present for them to make her happy. Well i guess Jadon over heard about the c-section lol. February 13th arrived and it was like every other day i got up my fiance made me breakfast ( he wouldn't let me make my own food wanted me to get as amuch rest as i could hes so sweet) anyways, i started feeling what felt like gas pains or like when you gotta poop really bad lol at around 10:30 am so i went to the bathroom did my business 💩 lol sorry tmi but anyways, so i got outta the bathroom ate my breakfast and again felt like i had to poop so i did it again came out started walking to the room got to the hallway and my MIL said "mikayla colleen, are you in labor" i looked at her dumb founded and said no why she told me i actually had color to my face now i mind you im 75% irish so im basically pale looks like i havent gotten outta the house in years anyways, she told me to call the doctors so i took the house phone went into the room and called the doctors well the nurse answered the phone and i told her i was feeling some pain. She gave me two options either wait to come in see how things go or come in and we will check you out, so me being a first time mom i went in. I got there around 12 because i did want to wait well the pain came more and more and they said you are definitely having contractions so they check and i was 0 cm dialated with a healthy thick mucas plug they had me stay 2-3 hours well when they sent me home i was having contractions 3-5 minutes apart we got halfway home when my mom said she was bringing me back now im good with pain but she could see i wasnt good with this pain so we got back there and they checked me still nothing then sent me home i got to my moms around 5:30pm she made me supper and my mom and fiance helped me shower because i couldnt straighten my back up it felt better to bend over for some reason i ate supper after my shower and my mom brought my fiance and i home around 7pm. i decided to see johnnys grandparents because they wanted to know if i was ok so when we got there around 8:00pm his grandfather took one look at me and said mikayla your gonna have that baby tonight i told him i doubt it they said this is braxton hicks because the contractions started to go all over the place. so i went back home (next door) and went to go lay down. well that didnt work and around 8:30pm i told my FIL i need to go to the hospital i cant hold him in much longer. We get there around 9 half an hour trip well i get in there amd i couldnt walk so the security officer whom was very kind gave me a wheel chair and said congratulations so i smiled and we went up to labor and delivery. I saw the two nurses who said i wasnt having him that night walk out because their shift was done and they smiled at me i so wanted to flip them off well the two new nurses took me into a room at 9 pm they said i had my thick mucas plug and had not dialated well around 9:30 they came in to check me again and well wham bam thank you mam i was fully dialated and my water broke almost getting the nurse in the face lol 4 minutes of pushing later i had my beautiful baby boy Jadon Edwin Tefoe his middle name is after my grandfather Edwin Karl Pooler he would have loved Jadon. after i held him and tried to breast feed but he just didnt want to latch for almost the whole night and next day a nurse kept coming in and waking him what felt like every 10 minutes and kept trying to make him latch when obviously he either didnt want to or couldn't i told her of he cant or dont want to latch then ill give him my breat milk via bottle which she didnt listen to me i felt so bad because my baby was losing weight and i felt like a bad mom at that point and believe me when i say i was happy it was her day off the next day well that night she got off work and another nurse came on and i could've kissed her she tried making him latch when he didnt i asked if i could give it to him in a bottle and she said you sure can. i told her about the other nurse who seems to get alot of conplaints (btw the nurse that wouldnt listen was pregnant) to make a long story short i didnt see that nurse anymore she stayed clear of my room thank goodness and went home after 2 days i only got one stitch (my first stitch ever) and ive been inlove ever since. he is 9 months old 19lb 6.5oz 4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom crawls and wants to constantly start walking 💙💚💙💚💙💚💙💚 in the picture hes saying "Yes! mommy im born!" lol #birthstory
