It only takes a second!

The dramatic video footage shows a mom as she turns away for a split second while changing her 11-month old son’s diaper on the changing table. As the saying goes, “it only takes a second” and that’s all it takes for her little one to roll over and fall off the table.

Luckily, her quick thinking and lightning fast son springs into action and grabs...

I just watched this video on fb and got so angry at the moms who attacked her for stepping away. We all make mistakes as moms and you can clearly see at the end that she was freaking out and so happy her son caught his baby brother. We should be building each other up, mistakes are made she clearly learned her lesson. It looked like his first time rolling over.

My world stopped I was changing the laundry over and my husband went to use the restroom. Our 20 month was in the room with our 10 year old and climbed up on the bed and fell, face first, landing on her head. Our bed is three feet off the ground and our son said she was standing up, so roughly a five foot fall. I ran into the room and she was unresponsive. She didn't take her first breath for 45 seconds. Her eyes were rolled in the back of her head and her entire body was limp. I lost it. I was screaming for my husband to call 911 and was running around looking for my phone. I was screaming to God to protect my baby who laid lifeless in my arms, aside from shallow breaths. I called 911 and was panicking for them to send someone ASAP. My first time ever needing an ambulance and we moved from having a fire station about a football field away to the boonies where we have one neighbor. I didn't know how long it would take for them to get here.

Elimination communication/potty training.

Elimination communication/potty training. My little girl is 6 months old. I'd like to get her to associate potty with going potty! She cues that she is pooping DURING. Peeing, I haven't noticed any cues. Past 3 weeks, she has been peeing during diaper change on the table. I tried seeing if she pees when I take off the dirty diaper and have her over the toilet. Nothing. Until I bring her to the changing table. Is she just wanting to pee while laying down or is it the changing table association? Would it help to put a mini potty on the changing table or to move the table to the bathroom?? Obviously, keep trying is the key. But not sure how to move forward. She isn't sitting on her own yet. I have read that sometimes the baby starts to prefer peeing while sitting once they learn to sit on their own. But I still want to take steps before that. #pottytraining #potty #eliminationcommunication #6months #6monthsold

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
