I pretty much have a routine down with my baby.
I feed her, then put her in her swing or bouncer for a little while, then I'll hold her and walk around the house or outside for a bit, then sit her down with me and just talk to her and play with her for a little while, till she gets sleepy, then put her to sleep💕 and the process pretty much repeats itself.
What do you all do with your babies all day to keep them entertained?:)

Our babe wakes up at 7:45 am. He does a dreamfeed at 4 am, so he isn't hungry right away. We put him in his play gym, so he can stretch out, play, and explore. Then, we do tummy time, read books, and sing songs. I try to do new exploratory tummy time activities each week. Then, he nurses for his morning nap at 10:30 am. He sleeps for 1 1/2-2 hours. He nurses again. We go for a walk/jog on the river trail. Then spend some time at the playground. He takes another nap around 1 pm. When he wakes up, we do more time in the play gym. He likes to pull on the toys and roll over. We usually play some developmentally stimulating games in the afternoon as well. If it's still nice out, we do another walk before dark to put him down for another short nap. He gets some time in his bouncer while I make dinner. After dinner, we all snuggle on the couch to watch a movie or tv show. It usually turns into playtime with mommy and daddy! He takes a bath with either mommy or daddy before bed. Then we read a couple stories and sing songs in bed. He nurses down and is asleep by 10-10:30 pm every night 😃

@alainasmommy916, he's 4 months old. He totally knows his routine too. He will squawk at us if we do it wrong 😆😆 we just started introducing solids by giving him two snacks a day and he yelled at me tonight bc I was late to give him his banana!

Two months:) She's barely getting to the point where she's more alert about everything, and she's starting to smile and get excited when I talk to her it's the cutest thing. I see her getting more and more active and aware of things every day. Sometimes when I put her in her bouncer, she'll just stare at the little animals that hang above her and she'll just be making the cutest little noises like she's trying to talk to them lol!! It melts my heart it's adorable. @emilyd

@alainasmommy916, ugh! I wish we could post videos! I would love to see that. So stinking cute! I've been a private nanny for 10 years and 4-6 months is my absolute favorite stage. You will be astounded with how quickly her personality develops and she'll start hitting her milestones one after the other. Suddenly, she will be "telling stories", rolling over, having favorite toys, etc. it's incredible!

@alainasmommy916, @emilyd , so cute! my little guy still wants to nurse and be held a lot. he smiles at me, mimics my face a bit. his fave place is his changing tables (upstairs and downstairs ). he likes his gym, sometimes and his swing sometimes.

My little one is barely starting to last a little while when I put her down in her swing or bouncer. She use to only last about two minutes before wanting to be held again I was never able to get anything done. She still gets fussy pretty quick most of the time but she's getting better at it as she gets a little older I think. @concrete

@concrete, mimicking your face is an amazing developmental game called "serve and return". Try sticking your tongue out to see if he does the same. It really gets those neurons firing! And @alainasmommy916 how wonderful that you get to watch your nieces/nephews grow and develop as well! I thought they were doing an update with videos... guess not!

@emilyd, She does mimic faces sometimes it's hilarious! The other day she was sticking her tongue out so i started to do it back and I was cracking up cus she would keep doing it too, and and then she started to laugh also. It was like the cutest moment we've had it was too funny lol. @emilyd

@alainasmommy916, that is beautiful brain development! You should be so proud! Place her in front of a mirror or put a mirror under her during tummy time to encourage her to explore her own face and interact with herself. Our babe loves to talk to himself in the mirror! I have a video but I can't post it 😩😩
