after you have your baby how long does it take for the after birth to come and does it hurt like…

It comes about 5 min or so after the baby is out. In my opinion it still hurts but not as bad as the actual labor but everyone is different....remember your still contracting after the baby is out too so there will still be that discomfort.

Go for it mama! I had a natural birth and I loved it. Just make sure you listen to your doctor and do what he/she said. My body was trying to push before I was fully dilated and my doctor said that if I push then I will be in labor longer because I would swell so I fought it and ended up only being in labor for 4 hours. I did not even realize my placenta was out. I felt a little pressure from doctor tugging on it so I pushed and it was out, no pain.

I should also mention I am a huge baby with pain but I was more scared of an epidural and kept telling myself the pain from labor was temporary.

We're one day apart!! I wanna do an all natural too I've even thought about a water birth but I'm not sure! I'm super nervous and excited!💕

after birth doesn't hurt at all. :) and I've done it both ways...with an epidural and without. without was way better. i chickened out for baby number 3 and had a pitocin drip Bc my strep B was positive, i had a slow leak and was already contracting so they wanted baby out. pitocin HURTS! i got the epidural and THAT was more traumatic that giving birth without anything (my second pregnancy). also I watched a YouTube video on an epidural (don't do that!) which added to the panic attack mid epidural placement. So traumatic. with my first baby I thought the epidural was a shot and had NO clue what they were doing. that was better, but the experience was better 100% natural. i recovered faster too.
