who's animal stopped being around them when you became pregnant because my cat refuses to lay with me or even be around…

one of my cats likes me that couldn't really give a crap about me before, like constantly stares at me or wants to be close.my other cat who always loved me is super distant now and only occasionally cuddles although both seem to be more needy in other ways or keep getting into stuff they shouldn't. I think it just depends on the animal. animals know we are pregnant before we do but they maybe don't understand why we smell different etc. that could be what is throwing your cat off

@datnavajogirl, I wish it was the other way around. but it's not she looks at me like I'm crazy and only listens to my husband and loves to only be around him but before I got pregnant she did not like my husband and loved to be around me at all times.

@breezy1993, well I hope she snaps back because she is my baby my hubby could care less about a cat he brought her as a gift to me and now she doesn't want nothing to do with me. I hope it changes soon. I miss cuddles
