I literally slept all day every day in my first trimester. I could barely get out of bed plus the nausea was real! It gets a little better!

@vipipi, I know girl right??? The struggle is real, I sat down tonight and prayed to God to give me the strength to get up and get moving and get back to work so I know he will answer my prayers

Try to sleep when you can and just use will power to work. I want to sleep all the time but have to make myself get up every morning for work. I am hoping the tiredness is just a first trimester.

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! I'm getting up right now damnit!!! I feel worthless that's the worst feeling when you want your little baby to get up with you and experience the world with you but I just feel so damn selfish sleeping all of the time

@jaimelee, protein helps give you natural energy but other than that I haven't heard of anything else but just to rest.

Unfortunately that's normal for first trimester. The exhaustion is incredible. From weeks 7-10 I would get in bed at 6:30 pm every weekday - as soon as I got home from work. And I took a nap both days on the weekends. Almost fell asleep in my office one day! The good news is, it gets much better at the latest by 2nd trimester.

@jaimelee Yeah it's deff hard being in the first trimester and having so much to do, I don't think there really is anything you could take . it just needs to pass .

@mrsmord, @mrslasyone the problem is I own my own business and I haven't been working due to all the sleep I've needed and my parents think I'm depressed or something!!! Is there any natural things that are safe for the baby to get me energy? I decided to wait to tell my parents for Christmas

I'm at the end of my 1st trimester and while I am getting some energy back if I sit or lay down for 2 min I'm dosing off. I pretty slept all day my first 8 weeks of pregnancy. I slept from the time my kids got on the bus until they got off the bus and was still ready for bed at 6pm. I couldn't help it. I say (if you can) get all the rest your body needs. Cuz once the baby gets here rest is you long lost friend.

the first trimester was the hardest because not only was I sick in the morning so bad , but I was so tired I remember coming home from work at like 5 or 6 and just passing game the hell out . it gets better tho don't worry

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
