Diagnosed with GD today 🙄 checking sugars 4x/day and on a meal plan. Hopefully it resolves itself and I won't need meds. a big 🖕🏻 to GD!

Does GD always = higher birth weight?

I'm a FTM who just received a GD diagnosis last week, so this is still all REALLY new to me. Obviously I know GD can lead to increased birth weight, but curious if anyone had a different experience? To be honest my husband and I now have this idea in our heads that baby girl is going to weigh 9 lbs+, but I just don't know how realistic that is.

I just found out I failed my 3 hr test and now have GD 🙍🏻
