Had my results back for gestational diabetes and I have got it π©.. can anyone give me some info on it?? I'm going to the hospital for the clinic tomorrow but I want to know what's what before I go there x
@littleelf85, well hopefully they help a little at least! xx
@littleelf85, bless you, did you manage to find anything that you could use that didn't give you rashes then? I bet! The last thing you need is more added stress. xx
@littleelf85, well after two other little ones, I'm sure you know what you're doing. XD how's the itching now btw? and am glad to hear everything went well earlier! xx
@littleelf85, I wouldn't worry too much, I mean you're bound to put on some weight from the little minx growing inside you. π but I wish you all the best for it. even if you do have it, it's not the end of the world as after pregnancy it's meant to go. I've been smaller all throughout my pregnancy and only within the last few weeks have people even noticed I'm pregnant. π xx
@littleelf85, I didn't have any symptoms so was convinced I didn't have it until I got the phone call. XD @lucxo no worries. :) xx
@littleelf85, quick weight gain! X & @nessie95 thank you I will message you now xx
At first, the will try and control it via your diet, if that doesn't work (it didn't with me) they will put you on metformin. I have to check my sugars 4 times a day an hour after every meal (although I forget half the time) I have growth scans and consultant apts ever 2 weeks and will be getting induced at 39 weeks (in about 2 weeks time). Their last resort is insulin, which obviously you'd inject but fortunately I've not had to have that myself. They apparently rarely let you get to full term so the likelihood is you will be induced anytime from 38 weeks onwards. If you ever have any questions, you're welcome to message me. :) xx
@littleelf85, yeah I can't imagine it would be still, if it can reduce it a little than you know... XD xx
