So I know this is a weird topic, but before I gave birth to my beautiful Jeremiah who will be 2 years old on Jan. 11th. I thought my vag would never be or feel the same. It does heal, and idk how it will be after my second one of healing. But time does heal things, if some of you moms were wondering.

I think the doctor just said that because I had such a bad tear. 4th degree so the worst possible. Women are amazing. We do incredible things!

And pushing the baby out only felt like a pinch compared to the stabbing pains of contractions

@allyk.xmommy, I can't remember how big my sons head but I think his head was average size, I remember the contractions were 10 times worse then pushing the baby out, I only pushed for 35 mins, because my whole mind set was the faster I push this baby out the faster these contractions will go away, lol. I also had a water birth so may have helped, and I went all natural

@bonniesue, i think that nurse was not very skilled In her job to say that. Also having a vaginal birth it's very healthy for the baby! I'm not saying C sections are bad either. I just think that nurse just contradicted herself. And also it's all worth it, because you see your beautiful baby at the end of the tunnel.

Your welcome @j8paqu and don't worry about working out or doing anything too strenuous until atleast 3 months post partum! But I would say it takes about 6 months to really heal

It took the doctor over an hour to stitch me, she made the remark that a c section is quicker and requires less stitches. So I got a lot of stitches, I was too scared to ask. I know she used over 7 needles. But yes, you will heal. Even if you have to go to physical therapy or have a surgery. You aren't broken

tell me if this is tmi bjt I went 9 months without sex before my son was born, and I relied on keagles. then after my son was born, I waited till like 3 months to have sex. and relied on keagles. now, 2nd pregnancy, and almost 3 years of keagles, I know tmi, but my so says it ridiculous how I stay so "fit". work the muscles and you'll have no worrries

Ladies that had virginal births did any of you had to get stitches if so how did the healing process go ? What about c section mommies that I had multiple how was healing process? With my first daughter had emergency c section and it took up to 8 months to fully heal outside because I had infections and gestational diabetes that it took longer to heal. I’m getting induced but I want to know both healing processes can never be to ready lol thank you ladies in advance 💖💖
