Okay, so I have started the switch of putting Sofia on the new formula. WIC switched from similac to gerber, so we had to make the switch. So we were on similac advance to gerber gentle. Anyway, I started a few days ago and did 2 ounces of gerber and 4 ounces of similac. did that for two days and then did 4 ounces of similac and 2 ounces of gerber. Anyway, today her poop has been weird. Like paste/clay consistency and dark green. I figured that her poop would be weird for a week or so. But during three or so of her bottles today, she just whined the whole time.... almost like she was in pain. Anyway, I can deal with the poop but the fussiness just makes me feel bad. I don't want her to be in pain😔 anyone else have this happen to their LO during a formula switch? Or do I need to be calling the doc?

if you cant adjust her to it wic can supplement with a dr note at least around here they do.
I just started giving Noah the gerber gentle too. And his poops are dark green and clay like as well. He doesnt get fussy or anything when I feed him though, but I have noticed he gets constipated a bit, but the doctor told me that it was probably just from the switch.
Yeah he did in the process of switching but he did best with gerber
@camdensmommy0114, so when you switched, he was whiney like that while he ate? I'm just confused because she did really well on the similac advance and the gerber gentle is pretty much the same.... as far as ingredients. I just don't know😔
Yeah I did, I had to switch his formula like 3 times before I found the one that finally agreed with him
Does anyone know what else works for a bad diaper rash ?? Idk why my baby is pooping so much but she poops at least 3-4 times after each feed & its making her rash worst. I dab when i clean her instead of wiping to avoid from irritating it & ive even tried changing the kind of formula twice. The poop is not even alot its probably like 2 or 3 little wet drops on the diaper but i feel so bad because i know that it hurts her. & ive triedd all these products !!
Ok I need help I'm starting to switch my son to formula because I'm not producing enough milk but I still do give him breast milk when I can get enough out anyways I gave him enfmil and he drank it but it messed up his tummy did the pain cry for hour at a night couldn't poop for 5-6 days so I switched him to gerber good start and he fights to take it but he poops every other day and barley crys so how can I get him to drink it better
I feed Paola about 3 bottles of formula a day, a couple spoonfuls of Gerber for breakfast/dinner and every once in a while 2 ounces of apple juice. Every time I give her formula I burp her and it never fails she ALWAYS throws up. Every bottle of formula is 6 ounces and she's 6 months. Am I giving her too much?? And thats why he keeps throwing up??
For moms who breastfed and are giving formula now... Did ur little one have tummy problems(gassy)??shes been on formula 5days(similac sensitive)? Idk if i should call her dr to switch formula or she needs a bit time to get used to it?? Orr??
Madi is taking ounce after ounce I literally can not keep up. I want to give her rice cereal to keep her full😑
