I was 18 when I got pregnant with my son. 10 months after I graduated HS. 4 months after I turned 18. I disappointed alot of family including my parents because they wanted more for em. My mom was happy but sad because she knew how having a baby young was going to be. My dad was pissed and blammed my mom for letting me get pregnant. I knew what I was doing having sex unprotected.. Little do they know my son was planned.. Why did we plan him so young? Well, I always dreamed of being a mother. And I knew I would be a damn good one. My boyfriend (his father) is 34. Yes older than me but respectful. half the time.. We got pregnant 8 months after meeting... Yeah I know my whole situation sounds crazy. Yes family was upset but got over it as they realized I was 18. Im an adult. Andrew is now 1 and in March his babysister will be here in March... I'll be 20 Saturday. I know I'm still young but my age doesn't define my parenting. I've watched my mother struggle by raising 3 kids on her own. I've learned the struggle from her. And by me trying to be the best parent I can shows her I can do this. I can give her grandchildren what she couldnt give her children even if I'm younger than when she had her 1st child. And that will make her proud.
