Funny u posted this cuz my daughters nails are extremely sharp right now I noticed she scratched herself I literally cut her nails the other day but they grow back like super quick so I just put mittens on her until she falls asleep (which is when I cut her nails) .... she is so mad lol. She's got her mittened hand in her mouth giving me side eye lol

lol yeah my son hates his hands covered ! so i have to wait until he falls asleep to swaddle him if they get to long ill do the same thankfully he hasn't scratched himself yet @dang_dridri

I didn't use them for my son but I used them when he nursed and decided that my boob was a scratching post. After he made me bleed a few times I had enough lol

Me boys scratch themselves, they don't like the mittens though & they don't like for their hands to be in their swaddles soooo. . .yeah. I just file their nails.

its so they don't scratch their faces mainly. but i stopped using them at 2 months. my daughter started to suck on her hands so i was done with the mittens! i wouldn't get a lot.

oh okay well ill just wait and see if he scratchs himself in the future but i keep him swaddled so his hands aren't cold much @dang_dridri thanks

we used them day and night...the few times we forgot..we had a baby with scratch marks and even a little blood ..we vut his nails filed the edges but he was a scratcher

I've never used the ones I got for my boys. People use them so baby won't scratch themselves or to keep their hands warm though.
