Okay so I was told by my midwife not to expect my period for at least six months because I'm EBF. I'm currently almost 3 month postpartum and this morning while I was using the bathroom I noticed some dark red blood and a quarter sized clot (sorry TMI) after I wiped. I put a panty liner on to see if anything would happen and now there's some brown spotting. Could this be a period? Should I be concerned?

It could be. I think I had my first before 6 months and I'm EBF and on a continuous mini pill.
I was EBF and had it two months after baby. Everyone's body is different. She shouldn't have said that you for sure wouldn't get it for 6 months. No need to worry.
I've heard that everywhere before. It's gonna take 6 months and what not. Was true with my first one, but wasn't with my second. I had mild spotting first and some clots the first time but the second one was really heavy
