Abel has been pretty congested for almost 2 weeks now I have tried everything hot showers , breathing treatments nose drops , sucking it out . so I'm going to take him to the doctor & if they tell me to wait it out like they have the past few times I will lose my mind . my baby is sick crying , coughing so hard he can't catch his breath I'm not waiting it put any longer !

Have you tried vicks baby rub? Put it on his feet at night with socks on

That's the only thing I don't have if they don't do anything for him today I will stop and get one . I've been thinking about getting one but I didn't know how well they worked and I didn't want to spend money on something that's not going to actually help. @melisssa

@abrlsmama16, my daughter was the same way and had a really bad cough. I just kept sucking her nose with the nose frida and putting saline drops in them, had humidifier on constantly and her dr prescribed her cough medicine. Her pediatrician told me not to use Vicks because it's dangerous and can cause breathing problems. I hope he gets better soon

If you don't have a humidifier get a steamy shower going and have y'all sit in there
