Is it possible to get any relief when you stop pumping/breast feeding? Boobs are engorged and starting to be sore idk how I'm gonna even hold my son today they're starting to hurt .. My mom said if I relief them (any milk comes out) then it's just gonna stimulate them to produce more . Helppp !

pump, store n warm wash rags helped 4 me. leavin them full can cause damage over time but pumpin regularly cud help relieve the pain n the warm rags help wit sore nipples

When no stopped I still pumped a little just so my boobs were super sore and enlarged. Stopping cold turkey could lead to Masidious, I don't know how to spell it. Warm washcloths will help also and I've also heard that putting cabbage leaves on your boobs helps reduce milk production, I don't know if it works but you can try it.
