to all my black mothers !!!! hi my name is kiara and i am 26 years old and i am a mother of two daughters ages 6 and 9 and yes they are my world and plus im 7 months pregant with my number 3 girl ..so okay i want some real real advice !!! ladies okay my 6 year old daughter shyla hair is short and im trying to grow it back and i hate that her hair is short that i cant even put it in a pony tail ...so this is the hair grease that i been useing on her hair but it really has not been growing her hair at all ...and its crazy cause i do take good care of her hair i wash it 2 times a month and i keep her scalp grease and i keep her hair braided and i keep her ends cut once every 6 months and i only flat iron her hair one time every blue moon ..and i try not to blow dry her hair at all ..and its crazy cause my 9 year old daughter sarah her hair is very very very very long well because her dad got good hair in his family which mean her hair is long as hell and i take good care of her hair too ..and its crazy cause both of my two daughters have driffenct dads so they hair is not the same...my 6 year old hair is short and very nappy and the only way i can do it if i softy it up ...im was thinking about useing a stronger greae like baby dont be bald !!!???? i just want to try something that will work and make her hair grow so fast and that dont cost that much and if none of hair grease dont work then i going to make her apointment to see a hair doctor or a skin doctor .....what do you think ladies please tell me something !!!!! 😢🙏

I don't use hair grease in my hair and my hair grows pretty quickly. I keep it cut at bra strap length though. I usually put some type of moisturizer in a spray bottle, along with a light oil, like coconut oil, jojoba oil, Argan oil, or castor. You can also make your own mixture. Also, deep condition and use a hot oil treatment occasionally.

Using a oil or combination of oils (tea tree oil, coconut oil, etc) place on scalp/hair, cover with plastic cap, place head under dryer for roughly 29-30 minutes. Allows the oils to penetrate the follicles of the hair & scalp. Then rinse out and trim ends, and then dry & style. The hot oil treatment help hair retain minerals in the oil. You shouldn't have to grease scalp afterwards. If you choose do, do lightly.

And do a hot oil treatment every couple months. You will see a difference in her hair quality regardless of it being a different texture than your older daughter.

It helps hair breakage and also helps to keep it moisturized. How I do it is; I bring a pot of water to a boils then remove from heat, then put whatever oils I'm using into an applicator bottle. I set the bottle into the pot to heat up. I section my hair into about 8-10 sections and apply the oil to each section. Make sure you distribute it evenly and massage into your scalp and hair. Make sure you get the ends very well. Then when you're completely done, put a plastic cap on and I also put a heated towel and wrap it around my head and cap. I keep that on for about 30 minutes to an hour. I then use a clarifying shampoo, condition, then my leave in. And finally, a protective style.

im thinking about doing the hot oil treatment but i never did it and if i do do it i know it will take time to do it so i dont know !!! @nolans1stlove

Try these oils . I'm Hispanic but my father is black and I have same hair as black people do cuz I'm black . My daughter also has the same hair and this oils work wonders
