i had a sweep when i was 2cm dilated and 10 mins after my contractions started and she was born 4 hours later. (my waters had broken 7 hrs before my sweep)

hi @kim.m. i had a sweep at 41 weeks. 12pm saturday and had instant period pains like beck sed and at 2pm saturday i was contracting and was infact in labour and had jenson after 13hrs of labour he was born 3am sunday.. i hope the sweep works for u and u have ur bundle of joy soon xx

I was the same hun ! X in my experience no not at all just felt uncomfortable but I think I may have a high pain threshold haha x

Sorry for the long ass comment 😂 but in my case sweep really did work straight away so fingers crossed yours is the same xx

I had a sweep after going in for reduced movements at 37+3 xx had the sweep @11:30pm on the Friday x period pains started straight away and intensified through out the Saturday x also had my bloody show twice on the Saturday - was up most of Saturday night with what felt like a fever woke Sunday morning and @ 11:20am waters broke x Had a pessary inserted at the Hospital @ 6:30pm on the Sunday I was 2cm dilated x contractions started to intensify @ 9:30pm was 8cm by 11:40pm had Harvey at 1:40am on the Monday morning x only having used gas and air x
