you get the birth certificate when you go in to social security to get it and social security cards are sent in the mail after you leave the hospital

I got my social a week after delivering and picked up the bc at my sc office about a month later. It was a $28 charge

Social in the mail within 2 weeks but birth certificate you order it online or pick it up depending what county your baby is born in but you have to pay for it

I had to go to this place to get my daughter's birth certificate ordered then went back and picked it up the next day. Her social security I went down to the closest Social Security office and ordered her one and recieved it by mail in 2 weeks.
