so I told my mother I'm trying to join the air national Guard. this is how the conversation went.
me: I just talked to a recruiter. I'm trying to join the air national Guard.
her: seriously? you have a baby to take care of.
me: you're point? I can still take care of him. he will have a better future.
her: that's just a excuse not to take care of your child.
me: WTF? are you serious.
her: yes.. you're a girl
me: and? you're a bitch.
then I hung up on her.

Yea but I'm determined to give my son the life I never had. I don't want him worried about when the next meal will come. She should be proud that I'm going to make a better life for him. @janhasx3

she thinks I can't do it because I'm a girl. All three of my brothers are in the military.. Navy, Army and Air Force. She is ALWAYS bragging about how proud she is of them. @janhasx3

My daughter told me yesterday she wants to join. She's only 15. I'm proud but I just want her at home with me forever. 😭😩
