How old were your babies when you started putting them in their crib in their room from the bassinet they slept in, in your room? My daughter is almost 3 months old and loves taking naps in her crib because she can stretch out without waking herself up due to touching the sides of the bassinet like she does now. I'm comfortable with it and even offered to get a video monitor but bf - baby/daddy doesn't want to.

We started our son at 6 months. took a month for him to fully get use to it. even though we can just walk into that room we still have a baby monitor
Plus getting them into their own rooms will help in the future when he wants them out lol eventually it will lead to her sleeping with you guys. me and my son share a room because our house is 3 bed room and my mom has her room and my sister has her room but I have the biggest room with a bathroom. At his dads its the same. we have a loft downstairs with a bathroom and 2 rooms but theres no door between the 2 room so we can just walk into the next room. our son sleeps in his crib in the next room and it took some time but now that he sleeps through the night its amazing!
I'm trying to get him to realize that she will be okay. Her room isn't far from ours.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
