hey EBF moms,
is your SO jealous of your bonding time with LO during feedings? LO is strictly on boob and he is 2 weeks and 2 days old. Our goal was to go 3 months without a bottle ( I am a stay at home mom) but now SO is requesting that I pump so he is able to feed LO.

@shanice93, there are other ways for him to bond with the LO. he burps him, rocks him to sleep, and spends time with him during his active hours (typically 5 hours during the day when LO is observing). SO says he is jealous, it is not opinion.
My husband was the same way but our son does not like the bottle so he'd fuss a lot. I suggested having my husband bath him instead and they enjoy it, that's their bonding time :)
There may be a little jealousy, men like to feel needed too. They say to try and wait a month to give a bottle so maybe you can do that instead of 3 mos.
I don't think he jealous. I think it is he would like to bond with his child as well. my husband was the same exact way. he wanted to feed the baby and not always have her on the boob. so I would pump for him so he could feed her every now and then
