So, if this doesn't make it crystal clear why smoking is so dangerous then you're plain ignorant and in denial. Every single time my mom has watched my son he comes back sick. Why you may ask? Well, she's a heavy smoker and apparently has started smoking in her apartment. She doesn't believe in third hand smoke or that smoking harms babies/ children. Her 3 year old daughter has repeatedly had upper respiratory issues and infections along with constantly having some form of bronchitis or other illness. She never smoked with her other 3 kids and we never had those issues. Research the dangers is 3rd hand smoke and you can read for yourself. I don't think I'll ever let her baby sit again. My son has been up all night in discomfort and it has stressed me out because I am so utterly exhausted being in school full time and having to do everything by myself. He's coughing and stopped up and has woken up gasping for air. I feel so bad! I feel like I can't trust anyone with him because they're not going to take care of him like me or he's just going to end up sick or hurt.

I agree smoking is terrible for kids. My husband use to smake only at work never at home and my parents and his parents smoke and they use to watch my son all the time for us to work my son was always sick with bronchitis upper respiratory infections but since I quit working and my uuusband quit smoking our son hasnt been sick in over a year.

Smoking is horrible for kids to be around. I freak out if someone is smoking while I'm out and my daughter is by them. I usually cover her with a blanket and walk away as quickly as I can. As a former smoker I defiantly don't want my daughter to be around it. Don't blame you for getting upset. I hope your little guy feels better.

ugh that just pisses me off. my daughter's dad side love to fucking smoke when we're around. when my daughter is in the room I will ask them to leave the room or put it out. like wtf have some damn respect! sorry hun you got to deal with that with your own mother.... hope he feels better soon. maybe try a nice warm bath to help clear out his lungs. or just steam up the bathroom and sit with him for a little while in there

I'm sorry that's happening 🙁 my FIL smokes and I'm worried about my baby being around him, thankfully he doesn't smoke in the house but in the car and the smell on his clothes.

Thanks ladies, I hope he's okay. No fever or anything yet but a very runny nose and congestion. It's so obvious he's not feeling good 😥 I'm about to go get one of the new electronic nose aspirators from the store and see if that works better than the nose freida because he won't let me hardly touch him with that. @jsco @mdomke22 @babynessa @sjsx2andi @mommyofallboys671
