so yesterday my doctor told me I tested positive for strep B, can someone who also did tell me their experience? what exactly is it? I know they're gonna give me antibiotics when I go into labor.

It is a bacterial infection. Honestly you either have it you don't. Nothing too serious to worry about they will have you on a special IV during your delivery to make sure it doesn't transmit to the baby.

I had it with Rubi and I just had a iv with fluid during labor then I thought I would have it with Emma too but I didn't weird but with Rubi everything was fine she's a healthy 4 year old who acts like she's 15! Lol

I had it and it was no big deal at all. I got one dose of antibiotics through my IV line when I first got admitted to L & D and that was it. It was never discussed again

It wasn't bad. Just an IV. I was allowed to labor on my side, with a squatting bar. I also was allowed to walk before my water broke at 7cm.

I had it. I had an IV and could move around quite a bit while I was laboring, up until I got an epidural. It wasn't scary or anything. I think I got two or three doses of medicine; they did the antibiotics every four hours while I was in labor, and I was induced so labor was pretty long for me.
