I spent over 2 hours cleaning my house on Sunday and then again on Monday. It's now Thursday morning and my house is destroyed again. Not even just because of my son's toys (that's only part of it). There's just little crap everywhere, empty grocery bags, wrappers from opening medicine, empty water bottles, clean dishes stacked on the counter, dirty ones in the sink, jammed full garbage can, etc. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my body is already so uncomfortable and cleaning causes me even more pain but being a nester I can't just sit in a dirty home. Sorry just needed to rant.

@vamommy89, Usually my SO is really good about helping me with taking out the garbage and doing dishes and whatnot without me asking, which is why I'm trying very hard not to be upset. But I've told him time and time again how painful it is for me right now to bend down and pick up toys over and over again. I know a lot of my stress is coming from being so pregnant and the hormones but today I just wanna scream lol

Clean house vs playing with your kids

Clean house vs playing with your kids This is always a fun one. I often hear the excuse of "I would rather play with my kids then have a spotless house" as a reason for not having a clean house (and I don't mean clutter...I mean actually dirty). Personally I think that's a load of crap. I have quite a few kids who are disgusting pigs....but my house is always company ready and I don't spend all day cleaning in order to keep it looking nice and presentable. Granted I do have indentured servants in the form of children and a husband but even when my kids were babies it was never a difficult thing to accomplish. I spend roughly 1 hour a day cleaning and use the Motivated Moms app (which is awesome) and so have plenty of time to spend with my kids AND have a clean house. So, what's your opinion? Is it really 1 or the other? Or are people making excuses to justify their mess?

Does your SO ever notice?!?

Does your SO ever notice?!? Does your SO/DH notice when u do things around the house?!?! I ask because I dropped the kids off at school this am then spent about 3 of my 4 free hours cleaning the entire downstairs. Living room, dining room, powder room and kitchen. Like scrubbed counters, toilets moved couches vacuumed and mopped everything. My house was sparkling clean when he got home and didn't even notice!!! Like wtf I just spent hours cleaning u would think he would at least notice but no wha wha he didn't!!!
