If they go away they're not real. But when they do stay in a interval, do not wait for water breakage. That water may never break, until they break it. My oldest is the o my one my water leaked with, the rest I had contractions and that's it.

youll get there sweetie. i was 2cm dilated having contractions 2-3 mins apart for 10 hrs. but they wouldnt admit me cuz i wouldnt dilate. then finally i was having contractions that were 5-7 mins apart but those ones got me to 5cm dilated and they admited me then. its a long process. just be patient honey. but definatly go if they stay close together for an hr and u cant take the pain. @katey0626

yeah the hospital will send u home if the contractions dont stay consistent. do you know if ure dilated at all? cuz contractions cause dilation. @katey0626

They are that close together for about an hour and a half but then they go away and come back about an hour later. I should wait til they stop going away right? @kelsielynn19

honestly wouldn't wait until your water breaks I would go ahead and go to the hospital if your contractions are that close together... it could cause your blood pressure to rise if you wait...

ur water wont always break on its own. mine had to be broken for me. if contractions are that close together for more then an hour you should go to the hospital.
