I just took them and told them idk know where they are, told them maybe we will find them before bed time @janhasx3
It may be a few days of fussing and crying. Can you distract them?
@bonniesue, @janhasx3 @angelao777 @shalahea.sharvez @taybeard I took the Binky's
@angelao777, it's more about trying to keep them quite cuz he works nites
@lena916, you have ensure your husband and stepson follow through along with you. The kids will fuss at first but soon realize it's not the end of the world. The sooner you get rid of them the easier it will be for you. Believe me I have done it for years watching kids. The parents were always too scared to be the bad guy but I would have them off of them in a day, only if the parents didn't follow through would I have a problem. I had one little girl who I had off of them and her mom would give her them at home or in the car to make it easier ( for herself). She was 4 :(
@taybeard, if I had my way I would just take them and let them cry it out
If they can understand. I know a girl who had this issue with her daughter...she took her pacifiers to "Santa" so that he could give them to all the other kids.
@angelao777, they scream all day for them OMG it crazy I'm going insane. I had my son almost done with his and then one day he stole his sister pink one and now I'm starting all over again. I don't know what happened. my husband keeps say wait till the new year but that to far away when I'm the one stuck at home with them clean them and try to find them when they lose them. and when my husband and my 9 yr stepson r home they keep talking about them and giving to them. it's never ending
how do you take them off if it when they are turning 1?
it's easiest just to take them. If they ask where they went just say you don't know and that they don't need a Binky if their big enough to ask do them.
@bonniesue, I'm so over the binky if I could flush them in would. my daughter is the worst with it. my son he's only has to have cuz she does
My nephews got rid of theirs at 2. They tied it to a balloon and told them you're a big boy so you don't need a pacifier anymore. It's going to a baby now. Then my nephews let the balloon go
and gave them pumpkin cookies @janhasx3
