Is it true when they say your labor and pregnancy progression can be the same/comparable to the women in your family?? Like as far as if they went over, delivered vaginally, dilated last, etc??

i asked my doc this when i was pregnant and he said no. everyone's body is different so there is no connection

my mother went over with almost all of us. my grandma too with my mom and uncles. I was a week early
