okay so I know this is probably jealousy on my part but idk if I have a right to feel this way... my older sister is in a newish relationship with a guy who has a daughter just a year older than mine.. well I was the first to have a kiddo and now I'm pregnant with a second... anywho no matter what I do she's always got to try and do things better I think.. she has a a good paying job and so does the bf make pretty good money well my husband and I are living off only his income not complaining we choose it to be this way so our daughter doesn't have to go to daycare and I get to be a stay at home mommy not complaining! I just feel like she's not a mom and this little girl shouldn't be able to get to call my parents Grammy and Grumpy that's my daughter's and their thing! my older sister acts like she knows how to be a Mom when she's literally only there two or three days and even then she's in daycare half the day it just really irritates me and makes me mad that she's crowding in on my earned right with my parents I guess that probably sounds so immature of me but I always feel like it's a competition with her she's three years older than me btw... any advice on what I can do to get over it! please help me...

Who's to say that one day this little girl becomes a part of y'alls family. Grammy and Grumpy may have started as your daughters thing, but the little girl calling them that also is most likely her way of showing them that she's comfortable with them. Is your daughter upset that she calls them that?

they've been a round each other three different times though it's my sister saying it to her... and to me it's not just a nickname it means more to me than just that..@ginnalynn, it's a special thing between them and my daughter. not a little girl that's been around my family for maybe three months?? @ginnalynn

Think of it this way, she's probably going off of what your daughter says because that seems appropriate if someone else calls them that. It's just a nickname anyways

idk why I'm feeling this way it just gets to me for some reason the little girl looks just like my daughter and she's got a great family as far as I know but Grammy and Grumpy have been my daughter's thing with them since she was born and it really pisses me off she calls them that! like call them grandma and grandpa! @ginnalynn

I had my mother's and father's first official grandchild, but my sister is going to marry a man with a son older than my own. Kaydon (my sister's soon to be stepson) calls my mom grandma and my dad grandpa. It doesn't bother me at all, because technically he will be their grandson. He never really had a good family (other than his own Father who has custody of him), so if he feels comfortable enough to call them family then that's great and I don't mind at all! He even calls me Aunt Ginny and my husband Uncle Brandon

I don't know he and his wife split after she cheated on him he gets her often I think they have arrangements set up or something

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Please keep rude comments to yourself.. But me and my husband are taking our dog back to the shelter tomorrow because she's having A LOT of trouble transitioning into family life.. Barking and jumping, jumping on me, jumping and growling at neighbourhood kids.. I'm just afraid that she's not going to do well with the boys once they're born and I feel really guilty but I feel like trying to find a more calm family like dog would be best... 😞 I just feel terrible.. I'm not one to give up on a dog. Am I wrong for doing this???
