It's common for babies to go through phases of being unsettled or waking. I'd continue with your normal routine & I guess it's what your happy with doing. Once I lay Max down I sit by his crib for a while if he's unsettled. After a minute or 2 I lay my hand on his tummy & say goodnight then walk away. I repeat this until he settles. Trying to leave him a little longer each time.

@mrsmowmow, thanks a lot Hun. I may try making the routine earlier so by time he's down it isn't too late xx

Sleep associations.. I've created some bad sleep associations like nursing him until he's fallen asleep or rocking him until he's completely asleep and then putting him down and I can't do that anymore. It's getting so much harder to rock him to sleep because he's getting bigger and I have a bad back. I honestly don't know how to get him to fall asleep on his own :( do you ladies have any advice ?

they say you can't spoil an infant is that true because my lo is 7 weeks and he doesn't like being put down and can only fall asleep in my arms to be put to bed. plus he's so fussy lately. he's also going through a growth spurt at the moment I'm sure of that now. that's not too say I can't put him down without him fussing he can sit for a good 20 minutes without wanting to be held but that's it.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
