My son will be 8 months old Christmas time & I'm having a hard time thinking what to get him & I was thinking about not getting to much stuff because his birthday will he 4 months later & just going big for his birthday but his daddy isn't having that . what did you guys get your kids for your kids first Christmas? did you go all out ?

I would get teether, new blankets. favorite snacks. that kind of stuff :)

Just get stuff from 6-12 months and then the toys for birthday 1yr plus. It's true the first Xmas when they're this small is more for us than them lol

we only picked up a couple Lil things for our Lil one. mostly though because we do have older kids and the youngest 3 still believe in Santa so we know if we get nothing then the younger ones r gonna think Santa forgot their baby brother

We're in the same boat! My daughter will be 1 in feb! So we're getting a bunch of small stuff like books clothes and smaller toys and splitting them 4 ways with one or two largesr ones for each(we're having 3 different Xmas) and since she's the first grandchild and great grandchild our family has gone over board lol. Toy wise though we're getting stuff for 1 yo and for her birthday 1 1/2 and up
