9 months postpartum and the depression is still here π
I am currently on meds and was so nervous about it affecting me. It has honestly just made me a better version of myself. I have better control of my emotions and I like myself so much more. Certain medicines aren't for everyone so you may have to try one or two before you find what works for you. But I'm on zoloft and it works very well for me
@huntersmommy16, do not feel bad about taking meds. our chemicals get all screwed up with pregnancies, and we need help adjusting them. I developed anxiety with my first and denied myself meds until I had a breakdown. do not do this to yourself. also, get therapy.
I've been taking medication since I was 14 weeks. it's the best decision I've ever made otherwise I wouldn't be here. it's okay to take medication, you're not a failure or horrible person. you're a strong woman for realizing you need help and it's okay to get help
I feel like a terrible person taking medication.. I don't want it to affect who I am :( @michelle2220
You're not alone.
