I don't remember if my son did this. but it doesn't seem like my daughter makes eye contact. she smiles at the sound of my voice and will look in my direction but a bit to the side or above if that makes sense. is this normal? anyone else gone through this?
@amorrione I'm glad it's normal. I was worried bc I knew a girl in my neighborhood who would alwaysss look up into the sky while talking to someone. never made eye contact.
@babynessa I was doing that with her earlier to see if she would face my way and she was. once I began nursing her she looked me straight in the eye with big smile (:
My daughter did that for a while I felt like she was looking at my hairline rather than my face but she's getting better now, more consistent with looking into my eyes. She's almost 2 months old
My daughter did that since she was about a months. My husband would grab her rattle and make a noise on one side of her and she'd turn that direction. Or he would talk to her and hide and see if she could figure out the direction of his voice. It's actually something thats very good for their development same as peek a boo. Now when we talk to her she stops what she's doing and looks directly at us.
she looked at my while I breast feeding her as I wrote the post lol I was nervous for a second @marialovey7
- My son did that for like the first 3-4 months . but over time he got better and now he will look at me or directly at someone who's talking . his 8 months now.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
A have a friend who has trouble holding (but not making) eye contact, and she's 30. I think everybody is different but being able to tell on a one-month-old a trait that may carry into adulthood is not very likely.
