Really? My son was so big at 4 months. He was 16lbs and my sister's daughter was 15lbs at 3 1/2 months lol maybe I should just wait then. I'm so used to seeing and having big babies.

As long as baby has enough wet diapers a day she's fine. My daughter was small too. No need to start solids early.

You're doing great mama. Don't stress. 😊 My daughter was only like 17 pounds by 7 months and my son is 15lbs at 4 months. Both very healthy! Every baby is different.

You really shouldn't give foods till 6 months. Look into baby lead weaning. And cereal is just empty calories

@valrocks, all my siblings and I and my families started eating solids at 2-3 months, in the only one to ever wait until 4 months. I guess it's a Hispanic thing especially for Dominicans lol

Just because everyone else is doing it doesn't mean it's right. Do some research.

@valrocks, I have done research. And I worked in a pediatrics office. All babies are different. Some can handle solids at 4 months while others can't. Some are not even ready at 6 months. So it's all up to the baby. I already have my baby solids and she's still doing good so far.

Her weight is fine. Girls tend to be smaller than boys and my sons was 15 lbs at 4 months and at 6 months he was 19 lbs
