I know it's not the same at all, but when I had my gallbladder surgery, to get out of bed I swung my feet over and pulled my self up. or my SO helped. my aunt had a csection 3 times and use cold packs on her belly. she used body wash and shampoos with aloe. and just kept everything cleaned and tried not to bother it
