No, it's just what you feel is right @jemmalou I'm taking mines from 35 weeks but that was the midwife that suggested that as I went in to labour 6 weeks early with my daughter than had her 5 weeks early!! Most mums take it as late as they can so they have later off with baby!! But it's just what you feel best with x
I wouldn't consider going that early purely because I'd get bored & then wish I had something to do lol. But it depends on each individual & how your feeling. And same as @gillz_90 mentioned the longer you leave the longer you'll have off after baby. 10weeks may not seem long now but once babies here it goes so quick!
thank you, I am meant to go at 32wks but I've been plagued with a monstrous migraine for nearly 3wks now and I work nearly 2hrs away in London, think il have a chat with my manager when I go back Wednesday x
I left work yesterday at 32+5, I've got 3 weeks annual leave to use and then I start mat leave a month before my due date. It's your personal choice! xx @jemmalou xx
I finish next Friday and I'll be 32+2 days. I had my daughter at 37 weeks, and only finished at work at 35 weeks with her, so only had 2 weeks to gets things sorted which wasn't enough time, and I may be getting induced early this time aswell, so I ain't taking that chance again. also I'm in pain everyday with SPD, so I can't wait to finish next week! you finish when your ready hun xx @jemmalou

I worked until 37+5 but it's personal preference. I would have been so bored.
