I dealt with severe sore nipple the first few weeks of breastfeeding but the pain would usually go away once he started nursing after a few seconds. The last few days my right nipple has been extremely sore, the pain doesn't go away while my son is nursing. It hurts way more. My whole boob hurts while he's nursing. Anyone know what this could be? I've been dreading nursing him on that side 😭

might be a blister, a crack, or thrush.

@kambam, what is thrush? I don't see a blister or a crack. It's red and sore but not dry or cracked.

thrush is like a yeast infection. is it shiny looking? and does your LO have any white patches in mouth?

maybe a clogged duct if you feel any lumps
