I'll be 14 weeks Tuesday I started to notice more and more period like cramps and sharp pains in my downstairs that feel like someone is stabbing my cervix and the walls, anyone have this? had a ultrasound on Thursday and saw my baby moving and hiccuping, my cervix was closed and I have a thick mucus plug.

I called my midwife today and she is going to have me go in tomorrow to test, I've been battling a uti and got put on a strong antibiotic last week, she thinks it could of came back and cramps are definitely normal I just keep feeling like I'm going to start my period, this is my first pregnancy past 6 weeks
You'd have to bring it up to your doctor but mild cramping is normal. I definitely had it and it kinda felt like the start of menstrual period cramps, but very mild. I still get it sometimes. I had some weird sharp twinges too but nothing that lasted for a long time. I'd just feel it out of nowhere and then it would go away. Sharp pains on either side of your lower abdomen could be round ligament pain.
I had bad cramps with my daughter up till 20 weeks they was scary I was always into my midwife. Listen to your body and your gut
