Am I the only one who had a C section where whre the doctor used staples on the inside and dissolvable stitches on the outside?!.
I feel bad for the ones with staples or glue.
Do y’all think deviled eggs are a thanksgiving staple or am I the only one that nearly forgets about them every year until I see that someone else made them? Lol
I heard the hospital I'm going to only does staples for c sections 😪😪 but I hear that it's more painful for recovery then getting stitches and glue! They can't say no if I request that.. Can they? 😫😡 I don't want staples

it's been one year since my c section and I swear I can still feel staples under my scar. I had staples on the inside and stitches on the outside. 😯 weren't they suppose to dissolve?

The staples weren't that bad. I had stitches on the inside and staples outside. I have no scar and it closed within a week. I never had a problem with the staples. This time they want to use glue and it freaking me out. Glue just doesn't sound as secure to me as staples or stitches.

I've seen glue closed incisions and they look horrible. mine closed in about a week and people look at me like I have three heads when i say that they use stitches on the outside @guaderrama_babies2

@mommyof1boyy, I've heard of the it lol this hospital I'm delivering at told me I was lying when I said I had staples a year ago with my first lol I had to tell the anesthesiologist I'm not crazy lady I remember getting them taken out 8 days after surgery. I even saw them! They said the staples and stitches are old and outdated techniques. The glue looks horrible! The scars it leaves looks horrible too! This is my scar 13 pp with staples and I can barely see it.

it looks awesome!!!! I've mainly heard of people who had the glue there's would break open and puss and get infected and they would have to have to reopen it to drain the fluid. and I'm not trying to scare you it also scares me because I will most likely and need a C-section with my next child and I really don't want the glue. @guaderrama_babies2

Staples on the inside? I had a wound vac to close mine with I'm assuming stitches on the inside as well. My scar was supposed to have been very thin and not noticeable by now apparently but it looks horrible, though I don't really care.

@mommyof1boyy, that's exactly what I'm terrified of! like dang I'm not apiece of paper that can be glued back! in human flesh lol don't worry no scarring me. I have to get it done regardless of whether I think it's a good idea or not. I can't delivery vaginally.

The only reason mine doesn't look bad is because my OBGYN did his first c section on me so it took him literally an hour to stitch me closed. and the ones I seen so bad have come from military hospitals so that might be the reason why it looks so bad @jasholbert

I can't either and with my next baby I won't be at the same hospital as I was with my first. so I'm wondering if I can demand it to be done the same way as my first one was done@guaderrama_babies2

@mommyof1boyy, I'm in a different state than my first. I asked for staples and she said she can't do them and prefers the glue.
